We are looking for an experienced Event Manager to join the YAX team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have strong event management experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to plan and coordinate event operations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage events from initial concept through execution and closeout.

• Develop event plans, schedules, budgets, and operational requirements in line with project objectives.

• Coordinate with clients, suppliers, venues, vendors, and internal teams to deliver successful events.

• Manage event logistics, including venue setup, equipment, staffing, guest flow, and on-site operations.

• Lead and coordinate event teams, assigning responsibilities and providing clear direction.

• Monitor event progress and resolve operational issues quickly and professionally.

• Ensure events follow agreed plans, quality standards, safety procedures, and company requirements.

• Track budgets, timelines, resources, and deliverables, and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.

• Evaluate event outcomes, document feedback, and recommend improvements for future events.

• Represent the company professionally and maintain strong working relationships throughout the project.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of relevant experience in event management.

• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience managing teams, coordinating event operations, and handling multiple priorities effectively.

• Strong planning skills and attention to detail, including the ability to manage timelines and resources.

• Professional appearance and conduct when representing the company.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet project requirements.
